Video Preview in Vista

I recently purchased VOB2MPG and it was doing all that I wanted except there was no video preview only audio.
It seems that VOB2MPG is incompatible with Vista Aero, which my system was set to.
When the program loads a message box appears saying that the colour scheme is being switched to Vista Basic.
That doesn't seem to happen though, at least not on my set up.
When I manually changed to Vista Basic, hey presto the preview worked perfectly!
If anyone else is having this problem try this change.
If you have problems getting to "Appearance Settings" from Vista Aero then use the Help system and find a direct link.
Once you have set the sceme to Vista Basic, Appearance Settings can be accessed by righ clicking on a free area of the Desktop and selecting <Personalize> <Windows Color and appearance".
