Using DVDs to create 'Blu-Ray' video files, I always get out of synch video/audio.

First I tried multiAVCHD and Sothink HD converter to convert HD MPEG2 home videos. Then the Arcsoft Media Extreme to convert the Happauge HD PVR capture from TV(.ts files). When I play these DVDs in a Sony Blu-Ray player and a PS3, they are out of synch. The Arcsoft has the least visible error. But still very noticeable and a bit surprising because I do not think Arcsoft is re-encoding considering the speed it created the 'Blu-ray' DVD.

The original files are okay. It's when they are authored to a Blu-Ray format that shows the problem. Is there a trick or solution to this? Thanks.

It might help to run through the ts mpeg2 using videoredo(using quickstream fix) or maybe ts-doctor. And then author it.

Thanks. I'll try the freeware one when I begin a new project.
