My jvc 5 disc player (TH-C60) stopped working when I came home from work not too long ago. When I plug it in, I get clicks and alternately flashing lights, but nothing else. I've replaced the fuse, so that is not an issue. It may be the power supply, but that may be a more involved self-repair than it would seem to be.
BTW...this unit is part of a surround sound system...package deal. The warranty is expired.
I've considered finding a used, but functional unit online locally (that way I can test it before buying). It is hard, though, to find a TH-C60 out there for sale.
Can I use ANY DVD player with this system, or are packages unit-specific?
Can I use another JVC DVD player with this system besides the TH-C60 model?
I don't want to get ripped off by crooked repair people or end up paying just short of the buying price to get it fixed if I can help it.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
