is there a DVD player that can play .mkv files?

LG Network Blu-ray Disc Player BD390 is the only one that I know of and I haven't a clue how well it works

There is no dvd player that will ever play mkv files,what i did was buy a sony blu-ray player and author mkv files to dvd,if you dont want to do any editing or authoring and take no chances on blu-ray players natively playing mkv files then buy a western digital media player and put all your mkv files on an external hdd and hook it up to the wdmp and watch through your tv.
