Does a DVD movie have 7.1 channel or only blu-ray DVD has 7.1 audio? If so, how to burn a DVD with a 7.1 channel?

The DVD-Video specs do allow 8-channel PCM (6,144kbps),
however I still haven't found any hardware player that supports it.

DVD supports 6.1 through DTS-ES and 7.1 through Dolby Digital EX - if your amplifier supports it.

After copy of the blu-ray DVD, can the copied DVD still keep 7.1 channel audio? If so, what tool can copy the blu-ray DVD with 7.1 channel audio or the audio will change to 5.1 channel after copy?

Actually, there is not such thing as a blu-ray dvd. But we all know what you're talking about. Anydvd HD will rip and bdrb will "shrink" blu-ray discs. Both will keep 7.1 audio intact if used correctly.

If you are converting Bluray to DVD you cannot keep the original audio if it is HD. DVD spec does not support it, and your player won't play it. You can strip it down to DVD spec audio though.
