    All of a sudden my Phillips HTS 5610 system will no longer play any DVD. When I insert a DVD a message returns after a while 'No Disc'

    I have switched off from mains and rebooted but no joy. Any ideas?

    Try cleaning the laser. If you are electronically inclinded, open the case and see if the laser comes on, and checks that it seeks when a dvd is locked into place on the spindle.
