    Hi,

I use Premiere CS4 and compile home movies from various sources (cameras). All worked well until the day I answered the sarttup ffdshow question, "never use ffdshow". Now the video on the AVI files from my Canon Ixus 70 locks up while the Audio is fine. I feel a bit thick now.

What I'd like to know, and I've spent a week looking for the answer and searching the program, is how to the turn ffdshow back on in Premiere CS4.

    Many thanks

  2. Try uninstalling/reinstalling

You could also try codec tweak tool
