vob2mpg error: Could not get interfaces No such interface supported

I have looked at the forum and found no solution. I use the same DVD on version 2.5 on bosses laptop and it works fine. I am newbie. Just installed VOB2MPG-Pro 3.0.0122. This error message comes up when I try to see preview to extract the correct chapters to make mpeg for use on computer replayer ( Nero 9). I really want this to work but some of the discussions even use words I am unfamiliar with.

some more detail of what the error says and what you are doing at the time might help. as might a detailed description of your computer. not much in your profile.
