I've read a lot of stuff about recording gameplay. Most of it points to either a capture card, or an external USB capture device like the Dazzle. The problem with this, is that I play with a monitor. I have the Xbox 360 monitor hook up and a 22" monitor. So I don't have the normal composite hook ups that you would usually use for these devices.

What I'm trying to figure out is, what are my best options. I don't care about the quality of the video, but I still want to play through my monitor. If a PCI capture card is required, I have my PC setup right next to my 360. I'm running a P4 3.06 GHz with 2Gigs of RAM and XP. I have an available PCI slot as well, but USB seems like it would be easier. If anybody has any info with this, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Would something like this http://www.ramelectronics.net/audio-video/video-converters/vga-rgb-hv-to-composite-vid...rodPVC982.html work if I had a VGA splitter and a Dazzle?

An Intensity Pro might work for your. It needs a free PCI express 1x slot in your PC. Card supports video pass through, so you can plug input into card, then plug output into card, then plug that into your monitor, so you can record while you play on monitor. The Intensity Pro supports HDMI and Component video/audio at 480i, 720p, 1080i - compressed and uncompressed.

If you are interested, please let me know, I have an Intensity Pro that I am looking to sell.
