    Hello,
I have lots of videos taken from my Nokia 6630 cellphone. Video resolution : 176x144. So as expected its real crappy if I view it in my system. I'm doing a back-up of the videos to a dvd by converting into *.avi, but before that I want to know is there anyway that I can improve its quality even a bit? I know my source video is of low quality so its almost impossible to improve but but still is it possible to smooth those blocks when I view it in my system. Is there anyway? Any software, free version or otherwise?
    Thank you for responding.

You could try MSU Smart Deblocking, http://compression.ru/video/deblocking/smartdeblocking_en.html , for virtualdub and maybe also Neat Video. But don't expect any big improvement as your source has a very low resolution.
