No audio track when importing mpeg2 into sony vegas? How do I fix this?

As the title says. Whenever I import an mpeg2 file into sony vegas, there is no audio track. I can play the video with audio with WMP, but like I said, when I import it into vegas, there's no audio track. Is there any fix to this? It's sony vegas pro 8. Thanks.

What kind of audio? use mediainfo (view=>text)

If it's ac3, do you have ac3acm installed?

You can also try demultiplexing (e.g. use dgindex) and import audio separately
