I am new to this HD video.Im trying to capture to PPRO cs4 and not sure what settings to use. When I first start out I have my new project set to HDV after that it takes me to new sequence panel there I have selected the preset HDV 1080p30 (Im hoping this is correct) after this I go to the capture panel there I select where to put the video and I also select HDV.When I try to capture the video does not show on the PPRO preview screen but it does capture the video and run the camera from there.
Just like to know if Im doing everything correct.'
    Thanks for your time

in cs4 you cannot preview HDV footage in the capture window during capture. instead, the word capturing appears in this window during HDV capture process.

only DVavi can be previewed during capture.

only select the hdv30p template if you are shooting 30p, normal is 30i.
