does anyone have any experience with this device?

    http://www.tracyandmatt.co.uk/blogs/...-player-review

i need something that plays back an HD .ts file - recorded from my Fortec Passion.

i need it to play an edited .ts of arounf 14Gb.

the raw stream is a .ts (and its the usual .h264 or whatever its called)

my xbox won't play em, and my pc, is too slow these days - bless it.

Don't know, but it will need to support NTFS to play 14GB files and the review makes no mention of this. That doesn't mean that it won't, but it would be nice to have said yes or no on this.

Your link is broken because you put a _ character in front of "http". Please edit your post and fix it like I did in my quote of your post.

cheers, some forums are fussy about "live" links, so that was the reason, ive now changed it.

im sure it supports FAT and NTFS.

im sure i read that somewhere.

I'm not trying to be rude, but after being a member here for 6 years you really should know already that we are not such a forum. All you do when you make that kind of post here is you make people angry and unwilling to help you because they think you are a moron who can't post correctly. Thanks for fixing it.

Look into the Western Digital WDTV Live. It supports NTFS and will play h.264 .TS files up to 1080p60. If you post a sample I'll test it out.

jman98: i think if you're honest, you know full well you are going out of your way to be rude, but worse than that, particularly unhelpful.

i'm sure anyone reading this will just think you are the moron and not me!

not sure if you're an admin, or not - but please, feel free to ban me if you think im out of line, as i dont want to be part of this forum if members like you are putting comments like that!
