Just learned that Comcast where I live is going all Digital 1 Jan
I have a Toshiba SD-400 and Replay unit, which I run directly off the cable and both work fine.
Are these units going to be worthless or is their a way of running them from the Comcast digital boxes.

    Thanks

It's hard for me to say with 100% certainty. Comcast has been all digital where I live for a long time. I took a look at my box which is a few years old and it has composite video out. There is also component out, but I'm guessing that this is not very useful to your boxes. So if your boxes can accept composite video inputs, you should be OK unless Comcast gives you some kind of box that doesn't even have that. Comcast is seriously pushing use of their own DVR, so don't expect them to make this easy on you. For all I know they may give you a box at first that is pretty useless for your recording needs just to try to get you to get their DVR. And Comcast is grossly incompetent everywhere so expect problems after Jan. 1. They keep their costs low by hiring about 90% morons who get paid minimum wage and don't stick around and about 10% who know what they are doing and basically save the company. So the odds are that if you need help from them at any time, you'll deal with the morons.
