Hi guys, I am new to forum and have this question.
I downloaded the virtualdub Plugin for flv files and it works perfect the only problem i have is i downloaded a Youtube video thats only 901KB (Old Commercial from tv.)
Now when i import this into virtualdub i get this message: *file.flv Does not have a video Stream*
Reason being he somehow does not see it as a size.
So I bought total video converter but the program has the same error.
Is there a way to fix this ore not?
Thanks for replying.
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!

It's probably a flv with h264 so try edit using avidemux or convert using winff or format factory.

Hi the video plays in Mediaplayer classic and I installed all codecs.
So i am now trying to use the AviSynth method.
Do i have to change some settings in ffdshow to make it work ore not?
Also the winff converter those not work for some reason.
So if this won't work i'll try out the avidemux and format factory.
Thanks already for the replys i leave a comment when i succeed in converting -
If you have the appropriate DirectShow filters installed (including an up-to-date FLV splitter), you should be able to use the DirectShow input plugin for VirtualDub. Enable H.264 decoding in ffdshow.
MPC uses its own filters, so this is no indication that you have everything you need. However, if it plays in WMP, you should be OK using this VDub plugin (or indeed via DirectShowSource in Avisynth).
