    Hello there,

I just got my new camera and trying to convert mp4 files to flv so I can be able to upload it on my site.

For this job I am using replay converter 3, but when I play or uploading the converted video no sound plays at all on my both riva and site players.

What is wrong with my case? Is it a difference between the mp4 and flv sound that does not match?

You might try dropping the files into MediaInfo and see what specifications the audio and video are, both of the MP4 and the FLV and that may give you some information. The audio may be there, just in the wrong format for your players.

And also you might try Any Video Converter Free Version. It seems to do well with format conversions.

    And welcome to our forums.

    Thanx a lot!

I first used that MediaInfo program that showed me that the audio is:
    Format : MPEG Audio
    Format profile : Version 1 / Layer 3
    Duration : 1mn 15s
    Channel(s) : 2 channels
    Sampling rate : 44.1 KHz
    Resolution : 16 bits

I converted the file again with Any Video Converter and gave this file:
    Format : MPEG Audio
    Format version : Version 1
    Format profile : Layer 3
    Format_Settings_Mode : Joint stereo / MS Stereo
    Duration : 1mn 15s
    Bit rate mode : Variable
    Bit rate : 65.4 Kbps
    Channel(s) : 2 channels
    Sampling rate : 44.1 KHz
    Resolution : 16 bits
    Stream size : 603 KiB (11%)

It is now playing with full audio!

I think something is wrong with replay converter that does not include the Format_Settings_Mode and Stream size to the convertion, so for me it is now useless...

What do you think of these formats that MediaInfo shows?
