    Hi all

I am in the process of transferring some VHS tapes that my friend in France sent me via post. I have since gotten errors whilst recording them to DVD. For example, it would record 5 or 10 mins, then would stop abruptly with an error saying 'This programme is not allowed to be recorded' E25.

I'm not sure why that is happening. I am using a Toshiba d-vr16sb.

The tapes play fine overall, but these errors messages only occur whilst recording.

Please can someone shed some light.

    Thanks in advance

Ps I hope I have posted this in the right section.

    False copy protection.
Generally I'd suggest a TBC (and I still will, as the surefire best solution), but I've had some success lately with the Grex.
