Has anyone tried the Verbatim DVD+R Double Layer Matt Silver 8x (10 Pack Spindle) Made in Taiwan media? How good are these compared to the 2.4x Made in Singapore media?

I have no idea. I bought a 10 pack spindle made in Singapore instead.

I have no seen Verbatim DL media that is Made in Taiwan. In the USA we've only had Made in India and Made in Singapore DL discs. Verbatim's Made in Taiwan single layer DVDs have always been excellent so I would expect this DL media to be excellent too.

They are rare right now, but have been spotted in the states.

I have no idea where mine are made since I threw the outer ring-label away....but they work fine.
