Hi,

I recently got a universal remote control (URC-7556) and have programmed it to work with my TV, DVD player and have tried to do so with my cable TV media box (Thomson dc152upc02 works with Cablecom, the main cable TV provider in Switzerland) I programmed the code for the media box into the URC and was able turn the box off (which is supposed to be the test that it works) but URC can't turn the box back on nor does it change the cable channels.

The problem, I think, seems to be with the so-called "Cablecom" button on CC remote. There seems to be nothing analogous on my URC, although supposedly I can programme add'l functionality into it, if I know what exactly the button is and what the code is for the functionality. The CC manual describes the button as follows: "Cablecom button -- Switch the mediabox on or return from the menu to full screen TV of the last channel viewed." Has anyone ever encountered similar problems when programming their URC to work with their media box?
