RMVB to other formats.

why is so dificult a software for conversion of RMVB to a file readble on xbox 360 for example? The ffmpegx make conversion of RMVB to other formats?I have a MAC and xbox 360 and i cant see videos in RMVB format because xbox 360 not suport this files. I find in the net a software call Connect 360.I think this program no support this file too! please help me!!!! PS:i'm not connected to xbox live.

Mostly because RM video is a highly proprietary format and Real does not really want anyone to use any converters except theirs. One reason for me to steer away from those type of formats. In the PC world there are programs like Any Video Converter that can convert most RM formats, but not sure what is available for Mac users. RMVB is especially hard to convert because of the variable bitrate video and audio.
