Rip Blu-ray Movie to fit on two dual layer discs

I was wondering if anybody knew how to rip an original blu-ray movie and compress it to fit on exactly two dual layer discs. The quality loss wouldn't be that bad and still alot cheaper than buying actual blank bluray discs. I am not sure what the exact size would be to set with a custom mb, or if any software can do this. Any answers would be greatly appreciated because I cannot find anything regarding this. Thank you.

AnyDVDHD to rip and BD Rebuilder let you shrink. But I don't think there any easy methods to split it two dvdrs, maybe MultiAVCHD.

I tried BD Rebuilder it would just stop working at a certain point. How many mb's would I have to set a custom mb for to exactly fit two dual layer discs if I were to try bd rebuilder again? Thanks.

Sorry you can't use bdrb to split an original blu-ray into 2 dvd discs. You may be able to use ripbot or clown bd to do what you want, i'm not that familiar with those two programs.

I use Multi-AVCHD to do the encoding, using vcalc to get the correct bitrates. Once encoded, I use TSMuxer to join/split the m2ts files created by Multi-AVCHD into two sets, authored as AVCHD titles.

Can any one suggest a way to convert this monster of a movie
and put it on two double layer DVD so that they will play on a

I don't know if it is warez or not. It was handed to me as a challange so I passed it on to you guys for suggestions. If it turns out to be warez lets remove it and get on with something more important

Proper is a group name that releases mkv movies on the net,for example:Star Trek 2009 PROPER 1080p BluRay DTS x264-ESiR.

I pulled that off google,its pretty well the same title name of proper mkv you got.

I also did a google search and found the similarities very convincing. I passed this on to my source and suggested that he handle it another way and leave me out of it Thanks once again for your help.

If you check prices on newegg you can buy BD-R's for the same price as a DL DVD.
