Having problems ripping a DVD? Read my guide
Just upgraded DVDFAb from version 6.1.2.5 to 6.2.0.2 (Nov. 11/09). Both are still in the 30 trial period.
Ripped and burned my copy of UP for 8 year old niece to watch on her portable DVD player.
Works fine.
Not a legal option in many countries, but in China you can buy all these movies, (Up, Star Trek2009. etc) in legal shops for less than a dollar. Or you can choose the same movie in various bitrates (see screenshot purple circles) if you don't want to go to the store.

Posting info about Warez and discussing how to obtain it is a bit close to a rules violation. Screenshot removed.

The shops may be legal under Chinese law but that's only because the Chinese government doesn't care about western copyrights (until it's time for MFN status to be renewed, at which time they raid a few shops to make it look like they're doing something). You can be sure Hollywood isn't getting anything from those sales and is very unhappy about it.Originally Posted by jimdagys
