I want to save some videos from a dvd as mpeg files. The DVD has say 4 clips on it, and I want to be able to extract each clip to an mpeg file.
Is there any portable app that I can run from a USB flash drive to do this, without having to install or store any files on the PC?
Thanks.

DVDDecrypter will but don't expect it to handle the latest titles ... fine for older or home made
Not sure "untested" but Free DVD Ripper 1.0 ... click "jetzt starten" ... about 1.3mb's
... appears to work fine here.
Note: Appears to run from flash drive as well ... will test on another clean system.
Didn't think about DVDDec, have had that installed on my pc for years.
I can't test it until I get to the persons house though, as I don't have a dvdr in my pc as of now, which is why wanted a portable app. Hopefully it works as I'm thinking, the last time I did this, I think it was with videoredo, and that's what I'm assuming it will also do.
Anyway, thanks, will try when I can.
