I have three AVI-DV type2 files that I am bringing into DVD Architect for a three angle 40 minute musical..
For some reason when I preview the DVD with 'Best' mode on (or when I make the DVD), the videos only displays a picture on every other scanline.. The opposite scanlines are black.. This plays horrible havock on trying to playback in a DVD player..
See the attached image..
I opened the AVI-DV files I'm using in DVD Architect, and they look and play great in VLC Player..
What is the problem? How do I fix it?
Thanks

No idea.
I'd do the conversion to MPeg2 in Vegas first, then import as assets into DVDA.Recommends: Kiva.org - Loans that change lives.

from the help:
"Any title that contains multiple video tracks will be recompressed when you prepare your project so the main video and the alternate angles can be combined into a new video file. To avoid recompression artifacts (and unnecessary processing time), use AVI files for your multiangle video titles."
I assumed that meant DV-AVI..

I've never attempted angles in DVDA. It looks like they are muxing them into a single MPeg2.

I ran the Vegas rendered DV-AVIs through MPEG Streamclip and saved them out to DV.. Everything works fine now..
Very strange..
