Is there a video player that has good color controls integrated into the player besides windows media player? I was hoping for gamma control or some way to change color temperature of the video being played, because some videos the skin tone looks dead so I want to change it to warm, or some videos are really dark but upping the contrast and brightness would just make them look ugly, so maybe gamma might work?

All the common players have such controls. Media Player Classic Home Cinema, KMPlayer, VLC, etc. But if all your videos have this problem you should adjust the settings in your graphics card's setup applet. You'll find two sets of controls there. One for the desktop, one for video output. Adjust the former for online viewers like Youtube. Adjust the latter for media players.
