I got the links easy with FireFox and rtmpdumphelper! I have added -v option, may it prevent from failing to download!

You should use newer rtmpdump! here!

Ok, I downloaded the newer version of the rtmpdump and the URLs that you provided worked. Thanks so much!!!!!

I then however tried to use RtmpHelper to do the next video:

    http://www.dolce-sport.ro/sporturi/jocurile-olimpice/echipa-feminin-de-gimnastic-locul...aparate-14382/

I opened it in Firefox and here is what I got in the rtmpsuck:

    http://screencast.com/t/ymoHeadyD

It however does not contain all the info you have in the command you gave me in your post. I am not sure what exactly I am doing wrong here,

Thanks a lot for your help!

in rtmodumphelper --> options --> RTMPDump Option --> select "rtmp server" instead of "rtmp proxy server"! Then Try!
and I have removed un-needed parameters in command!! the command that it self creates is OK and full! There is no problem and you are not doing anything wrong!

I was able to download the videos that I needed, but partially using Stream Support. The part that I could not get using RTMP tools was:

    2012/08/07/mp4:izbasa-19_15_42_low.mp4

I tried what you suggested, I went into the options and selected RTMP server instead of the default option, but with that option selected, I only get this error:

ERROR: WriteN, RTMP send error xxxx (xx bytes)
ERROR: RTMP_ReadPacket, failed to read RTMP packet header

I am pretty sure I am missing something, but I do not see many options in the program...

    Thanks!

    Thank you very much Bahman.

I was also able to find the *.m3u8 file using Firefox: Tools -> Web Developer -> Web Console; Filter: m3u8

These files are large and often the download is interrupted before the end of the file.

Could I use the -ss option to break these downloads up into segments?

Is there a way to resume an interrupted download?

    thanks again.

I wonder if they are screwing that coverage up as wretchedly as they are mishandling their U.S. broadcasting ?

  11. Can anyone check something for me? I've tried to get the following using rtmpdump or the nirsoft RTMPDumpHelper, but I just can't make any magic happen. I'm using the latest 2.4 linked above with no success:

Use IDM and let us what will happens! I can't watch the video so that tell you exactly what you should use!

  13. oh right...forgot about the stupid geolocation IP block...

I have IDM and it doesn't capture it. I URL snooped it and it does come via rtmpe and it's an mp4 file.....just can't seem to get rtmpsuck or rtmpdump to pick it up. With the helper it says it's working, but it never captures...

Well, It's a rtmpe stream! You have to use rtmpdump then! Open rtmpdumphelper and go to options and use rtmp server (rtmpsrv) instead of rtmpsuck! It should detects the link and tries to download that! if there is a problem, your firewall or sth is making noises! lol
    Quote Quote
  15. hrmm...still perplexed....I must be missing something obvious. When I run the RTMPDumpHelper, it attaches to the browser it launches the rtmpsrv, i go to the page with the video and RTMPDumpHelper says "Captured RTMP Connection", but it never saves anything to file and the command window for rtmpsrv doesn't show any activity.

Firewall is disabled. Running on Windows7 and have tried running everything with full admin priveleges and no success....

I've tried other videos listed here in this thread and I can't get them to download either...

    I'm stumped...

  17. Hi!

I have a problem downloading a video from Moshcam: http://www.moshcam.com/the-jezabels/enmore-theatre-933.aspx

    I used this code:

    Code:
    rtmpdump -r "rtmpe://streaming.moshcam.com" -a "" -f "LNX 10,1,102,65" -W "http://www.moshcam.com/chooktv/Core/Flash/Container.swf" -p "http://www.moshcam.com/the-jezabels/enmore-theatre-933.aspx" -y "mp4:jezabels_003_20111021_e_hd_moshcam_1692k_480p.mp4" -o jezabels_003_20111021_e_hd_moshcam_1692k_480p.flv
    and this one:

    Code:
    rtmpdump -r "rtmpe://cp163278.edgefcs.net" -f "LNX 10,1,102,65" -W "http://www.moshcam.com/chooktv/modules/Container.swf" -p "http://www.moshcam.com/the-jezabels/enmore-theatre-933.aspx" -y "1692k/jezabels_003_20111021_e_hd_moshcam_1692k_480p.mp4" -o jezabels_003_20111021_e_hd_moshcam_1692k_480p.flv
Neither works. I received a message like:

RTMPDump v2.4 GIT-2011-07-11 (Compiled by KSV)

    Thanks.

You can't use my script, because the link has expiration! you should get a new one for your self!

Yes, you should wait till it finishes downloading! Also use the following method, because process will be more quickly and there will be no need to re-encode (Thanks to bat999 for informing me about this method)!
    Code:
    ffmpeg -i whatever.m3u8 -c copy olympics.mkv

  22. thanks bahman . is there away to know the final file size while the process is not finished ?for one hour video the process takes one hour to complete or it depends to my internet speed?

It depends on your internet speed! you can estimate the file size! for example if an event is 3h, see how many the size of 30min is, then x6 of that size is the final size!

  24. Bahman how we can specify what bitrate we want ? furthermore i should use :

    Code:
    ffmpeg -i whatever.m3u8 -c copy olympics.mkv
at the end of process to convert it to .mkv?

Is it possible to get segments of video instead of the whole video at once ?

There are many .m3u8 files. each one of them has a specific bitrate.

It just saves as mkv, not converting!

They seem to have this 'Sign In' BS going on now for some videos, but that likely isn't part of the problem you are encountering. Since when did YT start having any videos longer than about 10 minutes ? This seems to be ALL of a 1hr. 37 min. movie, and not broken up into segments, either. I guess I haven't been paying much attention to what's going on at YT.

    A few things I tried -- quickly -- didn't worth either, but I didn't get to Coojah / Blader.
I thought the sole justification for buying Get FLV at their exorbitant price was that it supposedly could get everything ?
When in Las Vegas, don't miss the Pinball Hall of Fame Museum http://www.pinballmuseum.org/ -- with over 150 tables from 6+ decades of this quintessentially American art form.
