Hello, I have this problem I can't figure out. When I transfer on my Toshiba DVD recorder (at XP, max quality) the files are considerably larger with AC3 audio than with LPCM.

With AC3 audio I can fit appx 63min on a dvdr.
With LPCM audio, I can fit somewhere between 77-82mins on a dvdr.

    How can this be????

Does this mean the quality is reduced/compressed on the video using LPCM?

    I'm lost........

    Thanks in advance!

Video STREAMING? Nope. Moving you to our recorder section.

Yep, it must mean that the video is much more compressed when using the LPCM mode. Can't you set any video quality settings?

Thanks for the reply. Sorry for posting in the wrong section.

The only settings are LP, SP and XP mode.
