when I attache my camera or my hdv deck via firewire, I am not getting a playback during editing. When I render out and print to tape, works fine, but for editing, strictly the computer monitor. I have CS4, Pinnacle 12 and Sony V and it is the same on all 3 programs. In the playback settings, all 3 see the machine but just do not output to the machine unless I render and print to tape. Makes it hard to get a spot check as I go. Works fine when the camera settings are changed to SD and working with the same machine in DV mode??? Suggestions please!
