Problems with Decklink HD Extreme

Hey all,

I recently bought a second hand decklink hd extreme off ebay, its a year or 2 old and so doesn't have the 2k recording option with it but meets the needs I currently have for capturing SDI & analogue sources with HD monitor output....or so I thought. The problem is, ever since I fitted the card I've been unable to get any part of the card working. At first it appeared with 'found new hardware' like it should and I followed through the steps to install the drivers etc (V6.6.2). This gave me a 3rd monitor output through the analogue source with no problems but it wasn't compatible with CS4. So I upgraded the drivers and reinstalled all over again, this time I got no display at all, I phoned the support and he told me this was normal and they had disabled this option but everything else should work normally. So I opened CS4 and turned on the hardware acceleration options thinking that this would be the end of my problems and everything would run smoothly. However the video playback is choppy on a SD video project & I can't get any video output from any of the cables. The only option I've yet to test is capture but my guess is if nothing else is working then nor will the capture.

Is there anyone else whos used Decklink cards or has any ideas of the solution for this? Any help would be grately appreciated.

An update, managed to get the Capture working with no problems so it seems like its just the live output that is the problem now....
