Not able to rewrite DVD+RW media in DVD recorder

Hello,

I have DVD rekorder SONY RDR-HXD990. I often burn movies on DVD disc. DVD-R, DVD+R work fine. Today I wanted to use DVD+RW medium for repeatable burn. First burning is o.k. but the second one is impossible. DVD recorder tells: Insert recordable disc. What do I do wrong? I tried formatting after first burn and erasing as well. Nothing has helped.

Erase it on your computer?

Also try better media (use Verbatim). Also try a different disc. In my experience DVD+RW discs sometimes have problems much sooner than they are supposed to. When I have one that seems to have problems, I just throw it away and use another disc.
