Streamclip quits

Streamclip quits on me on an average of 2 times or so. Image freezes and nothing happens so I quit the program. Usually around the 3rd or 4th try it works. Wonder why it this this. My OSX 10.28 is pretty antique but it still works.

Lots of things can cause instability, ranging from insufficient memory (and I count free HD space in that description), to bad memory (again, including the HD), to ... you get the message.

If you have lots of free HD space (enough to hold the whole vid + whatever the app needs for temp storage), run a disk checking utility. Run a RAM test. Reinstall the app. You know -- the usual rigmarole. And if none of that works, call in an exorcist.

Got lots of HD, 122GB and the project was 7GB, never did a disc check utility nor RAM test... will look around to find out how to do that. Might reinstall as it's an old version, 6 yrs. Will also go to craigslist for exorcists... just in case.
