I've converted 2 new MKV 1080p files from DTS to AC3 (so Popcorn Hour can play them), but during certain sequences in the movie there are LOUD static or crackling noises. These sounds only last for a few seconds but are very distracting. When I watch the original DTS version on my computer, I don't hear the static noises, so something must have happened to the file while it is being converted into AC3.
I use Popcorn Hour's Audio Converter. Has anyone else run into this problem?
