I use BTV for 'daily' stuff, but I also capture a lot off camera's, VCR conversion etc., and as I can NOT get TME to work nor to get the Arcsoft update, I'm looking for something else.

    Any ideas?

    "DH-PVR" is unknown to Google.

    "BTV for 'daily' stuff"?

"I also capture a lot off camera's, VCR conversion etc."

What capture hardware? What source formats? What destination formats? DVD?

Thought even the transposition (Noun: An event in which one thing is substituted for another ...) of letters would have spelled this question out, but I was mistaken.

Is this a puzzle? OK, I use BeyondTV as well. What about the rest of the Q?

    No, it's not s puzzle ...

I want a - different - capture program besides BTV or Arcsoft (which has never captured anything) that I can use to capture with the HDPVR.

I'm making the assumption that I can change my options regarding input/output etc., with the software.

At this point I do not know exactly what format I want to save what input in. DVD is a possibility, Xvid is a possibility etc.

What is your computer capture hardware? Your profile says Plextor. What model? The ConvertX models are SD.

Most HD tuners just extract the MPeg ATSC stream. Some also capture SD analog inputs to MPeg2 in hardware.
