Hi
I've been looking for hours for an answer to this, and I just can't find a thing about this specific problem!
I have a Sony CCD-V801, and a Sony FX1. I am attempting to transfer the Hi8 tapes I have from the V801 to the FX1 via an RCA-to-Audio/Video cable. When I playback a tape in the V801, the picture comes in clear on the FX1 - but there is no audio. Slight crackles on a few videos, but that's it. When I put the V801 into camera mode, the live audio comes in loud and clear. So I know the connection works, but just not when I'm playing back the Hi8 tapes. I've tried going through a VCR, and no results. I'm stumped!
Any ideas? Thanks so much!
Mr. S
