Hi --
I use the AVS video converter (I believe 6.3, but I'm not home and can't check the version#) to convert mkv files to m4v's for my iPod Touch. I know how to do the conversion and get the subs from the mkv files. My problem is that the subs always come out white, no matter what the color of the font in the mkv file.
As you all know, white subs can be lost in the background. So, what I'd like to know, is there a way to change the color of the font from the mkv file, without stripping them out?
If not, how do you strip the subs so I can do it the "hard way"
I'm not always the most technically savvy, but occasionally I suprise myself, so I'm willing to try
Thanks in advance!
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!

Nope, this is not ADVANCED conversion. Moving you.
You must probably change font settings in avs video converter...or if it uses vsfilter while encoding you can change it in the vsfilter settings(you should then see an icon in the notification tray area).
