Is there a way to make a auto-play jpg-foto-DVD for a standalone DVD player?

I use a Panasonic S511EG-K to play jpeg foto's 24/24hours 7/7days because my old mother doesn't now how to operate her TV anymore and still likes to see all the old famely pictures.
Now sometimes it stops working, and is she can just turn off/on the dvd or even the electrical plug, then that would solve it. Now I always have to open/close the DVD, hit Play and 2x Repeat to select REPEAT ALL.

I could make a movie from all the pictures, but then I have a lot of work each time I want to add new pictures and I probably lose picture-quality...

    Thanks,
    Michel

If you can't change jpg playback settings in the dvd player I don't think it is possible.

But if you make a DVD-Video with images you should be able to make to it autoplay, use for example dvd slideshow gui. BUT the quality may not be as good as when you just burn jpg images on the dvd/cd.
