I have a Blu-ray rip file which is giving me trouble.
Initially it was an MKV. I use MKV2VOB to convert it to MPG and it plays fine on the PS3 and displays DTS on my receiver when it plays so I assume it has DTS audio.
However on my computer, using the older MPC(from K-lite codec pack) I got no audio (I posted this is the audio section first but this is really no longer my question so posting here)
They suggested I try VLC/MPCHC. Well oddly enough the video doesn't even play with MPCHC and I get 1 sec of audio static and then it crashes on VLC.
I am trying to locate the original MKV to see how it performs but why can't I play this file on my PC when it works perfectly on the PS3?
