I just got a new Acer PC Triple core, 4GB ram, Vista home Premium 64bit. Full HD support.
So I plug in my A1U and my new PC only recognizes(under device manager) my camera being plugged in when it's set to VCR/DV and I can import all the standard def footage I want. But when I set it to VCR/HDV, Vista says my camera is not even plugged in. After searching around I think it might be a Driver issue because with my XP it's the same problem.
Also I can import and the HDV footage into my Macbook pro so I think it's definitely a driver issue.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
