Hi everybody. This is my first post![]()
I want to know if is there a way to use DivX h.264 decoder to play video with SMPlayer?
That because using MPC (that uses DivX h.264 decoder) I can play smoothly a 1080p movie trailer, but with my SMPlayer (that uses ffh264) I can't.
I prefer to use SMPlayer because I think is better to manage multiple audio tracks and multiple subtitles.
Another question: in SMPlayer is there a way to know what filters are running as in MPC (right click in the video frame -> filter)?
Thank for your help.

So the only way to get a smooth h.264 video in SMPlayer is to buy CoreAVCOriginally Posted by Placio74
I'll try with ffmpeg-mt to use both the cores of my CPU, if this doesn't work I'll consider the purchase.
Anyway, why if I play the same "problematic" 1080p video using MPlayer using the simple command
I can see it smoothly? How is it possible to know which parameters SMPlayer passes to MPlayer?Code:mplayer MyProblematicVideo.mkv
Thanks
