I'm trying to host a video on my website and I'm wondering what is the best format to keep it protected so that people can't download it?
I want to use FLV format, however I'm not sure how to protect it from being downloaded.
Any suggestions?
Thanks

You can't if you are using progressive download hosting
If you a use true streaming host, and you have a rtmps capable host with secure login, you can help minimize downloading. But that doesn't prevent screen recording type software. Bottom line: if you can watch it, it can be recorded.
True streaming rtmp hosts are expensive. rtmps hosts are even more expensive.
