I can't finish register process(VOB2MPG pro)

I just purchase a copy of vobmpg pro.
But everytime I try to register it, it just close itself within 7 seconds.
The register process can never be finished.
How and when can I start using it??
I've never seen so lame copyright protection before.

I had this same issue. I installed VOB2MPGPro to my Program Files directory instead of the defaul c:\VOB2MPGPro\ directory... I don't like installed programs on my root directory... the registration wouldn't complete. I uninstalled the application and reinstalled it accepting the default location and the regiestration completed just fine.

I had the same issue as well. The solution for me was the set compatibility mode for VOB2MPG to Windows XP SP2 and then I could register with no issues.

I am also having the exact same issue, the suggested fix to set compatibility mode for VOB2MPG.exe to Windows XP SP2 does not resolve the issue for me.

What should I do?

Yesterday I checked the availability of VOB2MPG 3.0 (free version) with my PC
(Windows XP Japanese ed), and after that I purchased a vobmpg pro.
But also in my case, it closes itself within 7 seconds.
I reinstalled it to the default directory, but same issue was occurred.
What should I do?

Owing to the thread you indicated, the problem was resolved although changing language setting is troublesome.
I think there are many user of VOB2MPG in Japan, especially for converting DVD for Toshiba Regza,
so I hope that this problem will be cleared in future revision.
