I purchased a D-Link DSM-510 off eBay cheap ($65) and I'm wanting to get some recommendations on what would be a good format to encode with..I have a lot of video in high quality format like h.264 (mkv) which I know it can't play directly and I'd like to re-encode it in a format that would keep as much of the quality as possibly. I know I could use a media server like TVersity..but at time that can be tricky as well with the video being encoded on the fly by your PC.
Thank you
Dennis
