I'm looking on how to rip a Blu-Ray movie and package it into an MKV container.
I don't want any quality loss for both audio and video. I want to be able to play it in any media player (mediaportal, media center, etc.)

File size is no issue. My home network is all gigabit and my media server currently has 12TB of available storage space.

I am an IT professional and are familiar with both Windows and Linux platforms.
Either GUI or command line will work, as long as it yields the highest quality results.

So what would be the best option?
Multi-thread able prgrams would be a plus.

(The computer I will be using for encoding has a 3.2Ghz Phenom II X4 and 8GB of RAM.)

    Thanks
