    Hi,

    newbie here.

I filmed a hd 720p video on my canon t1i. At the 18 min point the camera turned off. I can see the MOV file on my computer but I cannot open it. It seems like it was not "closed" or finished properly. Does anyone know anyway to salvage this? I cant even open it in mpeg streamclip.

the error message i get is:
Operation could not be completed. (OSStatus error -50.)

    thanks a lot in advance.

Try open it with more software like avidemux, vlc media player, mplayer and se if anything can read it.

If nothing work you can try something like treasured.
