Looking to buy the vob2mpg pro but looking for one specific feature outside of the other great features. If I apply the checkbox for "recalculate GOP time codes" will each timecode from each MPG file now start at 00:00:00:00 ? IF not, anyone know of a tool that will reset the timecodes without recompressing the video ?

Well the GOP timecodes ARE recalculated from zero. Furthermore, pulldown and repeated fields are taken into account and hence the result is more accurate than the 2 other programs i have compared with whilst developing this: Restream & DVD Lab...

Having said that, there are other "timecodes" within an mpeg file, namely PTS/DTS & SCR timestamps. Some programs use these whilst some use the GOP time codes. "recalculate GOP time codes", as the name suggests, only deals with GOP timings.

Therefore, the question is, what are you trying to do?
