I was looking to buy a bd burner on Amazon.com. This item requires a PC with dual core, 1gd memory, ATI HD 2000, Nvidia video card... Meanwhile other bd burners doesn't even mention about PC reqiurements. My question is what kind of computer I need to have? Thank you

The PC requirements are to run the included software package. You need a decent processor, ram, and video card to play BD discs and to edit HD video.
At the minimum a dual core cpu, 2GB of DDR2 ram and a HD video card should be considered.
If I just want to put multiple dvd movies on a bd disc, I definitely need a bd burner. Do I still need a HD video card? If so can you name some hd video cards? Thankyou.
You don't need an HD videocard to author but you do to output to an HDTV, I would consider these:

If you can afford a new PC I would wait one month to get one with Win7, I also read Apple is coming out with a Mac with Blu-ray.Having problems ripping a DVD? Read my guide
