    for those people interested i final sorted the DTS problem out thinking it was my amp that was the problem.
    i was using a M2ts file with DTS audio and couldnt understand why there was no sound.
    the PS3 will only pick up the DTS if its a blu-ray format, i changed the M2ts to blu-ray using tsmuxer and it worked.
    the only other thing i haven't tried is a dvd. dont have the software to remux dvd format to leave just DTS sound, not that bothered about DVD either.
    so if you are trying to play anysort of data file with DTS or music thats in DTS it wont work.

    a) this should have been posted in your original thread. It does not warrant a new thread.

    b) at no point in your original thread did you mention that you were trying to play m2ts files. All you said was "videos with DTS audio". This is a good example of why giving more information - detailed information - will get you better answers than vague, incomplete information
