  1. I converted the following file into DVD:

    Video: Xvid 512x384 23.98fps [Video]
    Audio: MPEG Audio Layer 3 48000Hz mono 66Kbps [Audio]


    but i don't have subtitles. I have a .srt with the same name file inside the same folder with the .avi file. The subtitles are added automatically in AVStoDVD when the .avi is inserted, but in the preview there are no subs.
    When i play the .avi with media player classic or VLC, the subs are played automatically.

    But have you tried convert? I don't think the preview should show the subtitles. And after you converted you might have to enable the subtitles in the dvd software player or on your remote control.

  3. How dumb me...i activated the subs in vlc.

    It plays ok on the dvd player. Thanks

    Do note that AVStoDVD can burn in the subs. They look much nicer than than the player generated ones.

  7. Does anyone know how can i preview the Video WITH the subtitles in AVStoDVD?

    how am i supposed to know what font, size etc. to put, if i don't see how it looks?
