    Hi everyone,

Here's my problem: i want to burn an .Mkv file containing a blu ray on a dvd and read it on a pioneer bdp 320 standalone player.
I ve tried converting the mkv with tsmuxer (blu ray and avchd) and then i burnt the result on a dvd in udf 2.50 mode (finalized).
Whatever i do (i tried nero, img burn, blu ray and avchd), my player simply won't recognize it.

Can anyone help me? Am i doing something wrong or is it my player that has a problem ?

    thx

According to http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=146339 it should support AVCHD.

Have you also tried different dvd media?
Is the mkv source avhcd/blu-ray compliant? you may have to reconvert it using uncropmkv.

    And try also multiAVCHD.

    thx for your answer

i only tried dvd +rw (that's alla i have right now).
As for the mkv, i dunno how to answer your question : all i can say is that it contains a .264 1920:800p video 23.976 fr and a 5.1 channels 48khz audio 1536 Kbps.
whats multiavchd ? tsmuxer doesnt support it if i am not mistaken

all right, sorry im a noob, multiavchd and uncropmkv both tell me its not compliant (height)...
so i suppose i have to resize (or uncrop ?) to 1920:1080 ??
only pb is the image looks real weird that way...
anyway i'll try, thx for the piece of advice

  5. You already posted @my forum, but a short note here, too: uncropping won't stretch the image but will add the black borders so it fills the full 1080p frame - it shouldn't look weird. I suggested that you first find a small compliant clip and try all the options to check what your player supports.
