It's almost a month i'm trying to properly encode some videos and i'm close to win but still have big issue.

I'm quite new to video encoding so be patient hehe.

    PROBLEM:

This play on Dvd/BluRay player on my Full HD 37" TV but... i can't get it to play full screen just keep black bars on left and right side! Even if i try to set manually 16;9, 4:3,1:1 on TV it's the same song...

And this steps hel me working HD streams too. Seems that .trp files H.264 aren't supported widely atm by programs and tools.

I tried to play on same tv set an old .avi and it doesn't show with pillar box but full screen...why?

Are these meant to be wide screen programs ?

In that case, resize to 720 x 400 and encode, then try playing them back.

Many players ignore AR flags, so you are better off resizing to the shape you want and encoding as 1:1 PAR.

According to MediaInfo your source is supposed to be displayed 4:3. It's not supposed to display full screen on a 16:9 TV. Up though Xilisoft the 4:3 DAR was preserved. AVS Video Editor 4 screwed up and encoded square pixel but left the frame size at 720x576 (5:4). The last video you posted about had a 2.2:1 display aspect ratio. It should be displayed with letterboxing top and bottom.

Looking at your Divx file it looks to me like it should be displayed 4:3. You can use Mpeg4Modifier to set the PAR or DAR flags to 16:9 or whatever AR you want:

    16x9dar.avi

Your player may or may not respect the DAR flag. If not you'll have to resize to a 16:9 frame size ratio like guns1inger suggested.
